// the problem

Wix and Shopify structure products differently. Export from one, import to the other, and variants collapse into separate products, options lose their order, image URLs break, and your product URLs — the ones ranking in Google — quietly disappear.

// what this does

This tool reads the Wix export and rebuilds it as a CSV that Shopify's own importer actually understands, with variants, options, images and SEO fields mapped rather than flattened. You import once and check, instead of importing five times and cleaning up by hand.

// features

What you get

Variants stay variants

Option sets are rebuilt into Shopify's variant structure instead of exploding into a list of near-duplicate products.

Images carried across

Image references are mapped in order, so the first image stays the first image and galleries stay in sequence.

SEO fields preserved

Page titles, descriptions and handles are carried over so you keep the search equity you already earned.

Redirect list generated

Old Wix URLs are paired with their new Shopify handles, so you can put 301s in place on day one instead of finding 404s in Search Console a month later.

Validated before import

The file is checked against Shopify's import rules first — you see the problems before Shopify rejects half the rows.

Repeatable

Run it again after a catalogue change. It's a mapping tool, not a one-shot script you can never re-run.

// how it works

Three steps, start to finish

01

Export from Wix

Take the standard product export out of your Wix store — no plugin or store access needed on our side.

02

Map and convert

The tool matches your Wix fields to Shopify's, flags anything ambiguous, and builds the import CSV.

03

Import and verify

Import through Shopify's own product importer, then work down the verification checklist that comes with the output.

Questions about Wix → Shopify Migrator

The tool covers the product catalogue. Orders and customer records are a separate job with different rules — we handle those as a migration service, so ask us and we'll scope it.
That's what the redirect list is for. Put the 301s in place when you go live and search engines follow your old URLs to the new pages.
No. It works from your Wix export file. If you'd rather we ran the whole migration for you, that's available as a service.
Anything ambiguous gets flagged rather than silently guessed. Send us a sample export and we'll tell you honestly what will and won't map cleanly.
It works file-first rather than API-first, so size is limited by Shopify's own import limits rather than by the tool. For very large catalogues, talk to us first.
